Mob Rules
If more than 3 of a specific enemy are in the same fight, they will operate under a mob attack order.
Mobs have an accumulated health pool of 80% of the individual enemies.
Mob tokens grow in size based on their numbers. Mobs 1-8 will be large tokens. Mobs 9-18 will be massive tokens. Mobs 19-32 will be gigantic tokens. And anything greater will be a monolithic token.
Mobs of massive to gigantic token size or greater will have two turns in initiation. Mobs of monolithic size will have three turns in initiation.
For each mob member above opposing numbers in battle, mobs will gain + 1 to hit for the difference. I.E., if there are three creatures in a mob and one opposing unit, the mob will gain + 2 to their hit rolls.
Mobs will gain certain abilities/skills/stat bonuses based on what enemy types are in the mob. Some will gain bonuses when fighting other mobs as well.
Once a mob reaches a certain HP threshold, one of the enemies in the mob will die. This is calculated by the overall mob HP divided by the number of creatures in the mob. For example, if a mob has ten creatures inside of it and a health pool of 100, a mob creature will die at the 90 threshold.
Mobs can conduct three main actions in turn. Reach equals their movement speed for melee attacks, and as far as their movement + weapon range can reach for ranged attacks.
Mobs will take additional damage from AOE and piercing attacks since they typically move in packs. 2-3 creatures = x1.5 piercing and AOE damage. 4-5 creatures = x2. 6+ creatures = 2.5x.
While mobs have additional stat modifiers, they must succeed their saving throws against damaging abilities that require them by four or more. If a mob succeeds in a damaging saving throw by three or fewer, they take half-damage.
Mobs will have reduced AC as they are congregated and easier to hit.
If a mob is afflicted by a status effect that requires a roll, it will be for only one of their main actions. For example, if an ice fang freezes a mob member, they will roll during their first main action. Giving them only two main actions to work with per turn.
Large Token mobs are the only tokens that can be grappled or physically affected.
