Damage Types
Acid: Acidic damage. Usually coats the body and needs to be removed for continuous damage to stop.
Chaos: A strong form of damage from the chaos itself.
Cold: Damage dealt at freezing temperatures. Sometimes can lead to units getting frozen entirely.
Divine: Damage used by gods and godlike creatures and the only damage to hurt gods.
Electric: Galvanic damage that is often hard to hit but offers a sizeable amount of damage.
Fire: Damage dealt at extreme temperatures. Does varying damage depending on its current stage of flame. Must be extinguished to stop damage.
Light: Damage supplemented from the sun's energy. Can be very effective against specific monsters.
Magic: Arcane energy crafted into a weapon. The damage type of many spells.
Mental: Damage dealt from the inside of a unit's mind.
Necrotic: A dark searing damage type. Found in many malicious monsters that have lost all humanity.
Organic: Damage dealt from a unit's internal structure. (Heart attacks, bleed, sicknesses)
Physical: Damage dealt from physical actions. Has a couple different forms.
Dexterity: A Physical form of damage dealt from finesse actions and weapons.
Piercing: A damage type highly effective against armored units and units with natural tankiness. Piercing damage does half damage a unit's armor and half its HP.
Strength: A Physical form of damage dealt from heavy weaponry/actions and most things that bludgeon.
Poison: An internal damage dealt inside the user. Some cases will go away on its own, but others must be cured.
Soul: Direct damage to a unit's soul. Hard damage to counter as the soul is very fragile.
